TOUR PROGRAM:
Krakow & Warsaw – January 15–19 (4 nights – 5 days)
Accommodation: 4 nights in a 3* hotel, Hotel Alexander I, Holiday Inn Express Warsaw or similar, in double room with breakfast.
Tour leader from Italy: for departures from Rome Fiumicino, the tour leader will travel with the group from Italy. For departures from other airports, participants will meet the tour leader at the hotel in Krakow.
DAY 1
Arrival in Krakow. Private transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Free time, dinner at leisure.
DAY 2
Full-day excursion, with hotel pick-up, to “Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Salt Mines with Italian-speaking guide.”
In a single day, we will discover two unmissable sites: the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial, the museum complex built on the site of the largest Nazi concentration and extermination camp, today a place of remembrance and historical testimony of immense value, and the fascinating Wieliczka Salt Mines, with their underground galleries and salt sculptures, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Lunch and dinner at leisure.
DAY 3
Morning
Guided walking tour “Historic Krakow” in Italian (4 hours):
A guided tour of Krakow’s Old Town, the vibrant heart of the city and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will explore the highlights that have marked the history of this place, such as the Main Market Square, St. Mary’s Basilica, the Slowacki Theatre, Wawel Hill, and the Jewish Quarter, between history, legends, and architectural wonders (itinerary to be confirmed upon booking).

Lunch at leisure, free time.
Evening
Traditional dinner in a typical restaurant, featuring pierogi – traditional Polish dumplings filled with savory or sweet ingredients, served either boiled or fried.
DAY 4
Morning
Train Krakow – Warsaw (approx. 3.5 hours).
From the station, we will walk to the hotel to leave our luggage.
Lunch at leisure.
Afternoon
Guided walking tour of Warsaw in Italian (4 hours):
At the agreed time, we will meet near the Sigismund’s Column in Castle Square.
We will visit the picturesque Market Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and learn the history of its colorful houses, restored after World War II.
Along the way, we will discover Warsaw’s most emblematic landmarks, such as the Krasinski Palace, the Supreme Court, the Grand Theatre, and the Warsaw Uprising Monument (itinerary to be confirmed upon booking).
Dinner at leisure.
DAY 5
Private transfer from the hotel to Warsaw Airport.
Return to Italy.
